1st day
|
8:50 Arrival to Petrozavodsk. Transfer
to Kvarzitny village - start point for our tour.
10.30 On arrival to Kvarzitny village,
we change to expedition clothes, prepare ski and other equipment.
11:00 Expedition begins. We ski on the
ice and snow surface of Onega Lake. Instructor takes a lead, and others
follow.
13:00 Lunch.
18:00
After 18 km skiing we stop for camping on the lake's shore. Cooking our
dinner on open fire. Then - overnight in the camp tents.

2nd day
|
8.00 Breakfast. Checking skis and
depart for the second cut of our route.
14:00 Lunch.
18:00 After 16 km skiing we stop for camping on the lake's shore.

3rd day
|
8:00 Breakfast. After that we continue
our way through the snow plains of Onega frozen surface.
14:30
We leave Onega and get to the shore. Checking and packing our
equipment, changing to the dry clothes.
15:00 Transfer to Petrozavodsk;
16:00 Sauna;
18:00 Dinner in cafe;
19:00 Departuree from Petrozavodsk.

This tour does not require a special skills, however, you have to be
prepared to staying outdoor and in the cold environment for the whole
day. Falls are possible.
3. Safety measures:
following safety rules and regulations, reliable cell or satellite
communication, appropriate insurance.

We strongly recommend the following items to have:
comfortable,
lightweight and warm clothes, footwear (2 pairs), headwear, gloves and
mittens, indoor shoes, sunglasses or goggles, sun cream,
hygienic
lipstick.
